By accessing or using Valyd, you consent to the data practices described in this policy. 

1. Information We Collect 

We collect information to provide you with our "Social Score" analysis and to improve our AI services. 

A. Information You Provide to Us 

● Account Data: When you register, we collect your email address, username, and password. 

● User Content (Photos): To provide our core service, you upload photographs to the App. We treat these photos with high sensitivity. 

● Profile Information: Optional information you add to your profile (e.g., bio, aesthetic preferences). 

B. Information Collected Automatically 

● Device Data: We collect information about your mobile device, including device model, operating system, unique device identifiers (UDID), and IP address. 

● Usage Data: We track how you use the App, such as which features you use, the time spent on the App, and error logs. 

2. How We Use Your Information 

We use the information we collect for the following purposes: 

A. To Provide the "Social Score" Service 

● Image Processing: We process your uploaded photos using our AI algorithms to generate your Definition (Technical Quality), Layout (Compositional Strength), Mood (Psychological Engagement), and Vibe Check (Trend and Zeitgeist). 

● Service Delivery: To manage your account, provide customer support, and communicate with you about your account. 

B. AI Improvement & Privacy (Crucial) 

● Scoring Analysis: We use your photos to generate the score. Once the analysis is complete, the photo is stored in your private history. 

● Model Training: We are committed to Privacy-by-Design. We do not use your identifiable private photos to train our public generative AI models without your explicit opt-in consent. We may use anonymized and aggregated data (e.g., "Image A received a score of 85") to calibrate our scoring algorithms. 

C. Legal & Security 

● To detect and prevent fraud or abusive behavior. 

● To comply with legal obligations and protect our rights. 

3. Sharing of Your Information 

We do not sell your personal data. We only share information in the following situations: 

● Service Providers: We share data with trusted third-party vendors who assist us in operating our App (e.g., cloud hosting providers like AWS or Google Cloud, analytics providers). These vendors are contractually obligated to keep your data confidential. 

● Legal Requirements: We may disclose your information if required to do so by law or in response to valid requests by public authorities (e.g., a court or government agency). 

● Business Transfers: If we are involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. 

4. International Data Transfers 

Bloombubbles Inc. is based in Canada. However, our servers and third-party service providers may be located in other countries, including the United States. 

By using Valyd, you acknowledge that your information may be transferred to and processed in jurisdictions outside of your country of residence, where data protection laws may differ. We take appropriate measures (such as Standard Contractual Clauses) to ensure your data remains protected. 

5. Your Rights (Canada / PIPEDA) 

If you are a resident of Canada, you have specific rights under PIPEDA:

● Correction: You have the right to request that we correct any inaccurate or incomplete information.

● Retention: We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. You may delete your uploaded photos from your history at any time. 

● Security: We use administrative, technical, and physical security measures to help protect your personal information (e.g., encryption in transit and at rest). However, no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure. 

8. Children's Privacy & Parental Consent 

A. Under 13 Years of Age 

Valyd is strictly not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect, use, or disclose personal information from children under 13. If we learn that we have collected the personal information of a child under 13, we will take immediate steps to delete the information and terminate the associated account. 

B. Minors Aged 13 to 17

If you are over the age of 13 but under the age of majority in your jurisdiction (typically 18 years of age), you may only use the App with the involvement and approval of a parent or legal guardian. 

By allowing a minor to use the App, the parent or legal guardian agrees to: 

1. Review this Privacy Policy with the minor. 

2. Consent to the collection and use of the minor's personal information as described in this Policy. 

3. Supervise the minor's use of the App. 

4. Accept responsibility for the minor's actions within the App. 

If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information without your consent, please contact us immediately at info@valyd.app. We will take steps to remove that information from our servers.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last Updated" date. You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes.
